 Aquarium Maintenance Technicians

 

Position: Aquarium Maintenance Technician – We have Full-Time & Part-Time positions available.

Knowledge of aquariums required! This includes: FOWLR and Reef tanks. Need to have understanding of Plumbing, Filtration, Water chemistry, Fish (Reef Safe vs Non Reef safe), Live Coral care and invertebrates.

Daily responsibilities of an Aquarium Service Tech include the regular up keep of clients aquariums in homes and businesses.

Job Duties May Include:

• Servicing Aquarium in clients homes and businesses in home aquariums
• Maintain a service van and its inventory.
• Process paperwork after completion of each job
• Filling and Testing Water
• Helping Customers with Questions or concerns

• Acclimating Fish/Invertebrates/Corals

Qualifications and Skills

• Knowledge of Aquarium Maintenance of Saltwater and Reef Aquarium Systems
• Self motivated and willing to take initiative.
• Be comfortable with interpersonal communication.
• Possess a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Plus have reliable transportation (to and from work, on job vehicle will be provided).
• Be able to commit to regularly scheduled part or full time hours.
• Be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs

Company Van provided for service. We provide all necessary equipment and supplies. Requires valid drivers license!

We are looking for someone who has a passion for aquariums and is looking for a long term career type position. We are growing rapidly and therefore have plenty of room for growth in the service department!

Job Type: Full-Time & Part Time

Hourly Wage: $11.00 to $18.00 /hour

Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Science, Environmental Science or related field, or several years’ experience maintaining personal aquariums
